So, let's get back to the topic for today. Did you know that the number of views your blog can possibly generate can skyrocket if, and only if, you add relevant images to your blog post?
I did an experiment. I made a post without adding any images and studied it for a few weeks. Then, I made a similar post, but this time, I added images. The result was extraordinary - the post with images did far better than the one without.
These posts were all SEO-optimized, which confirms that adding clear, attractive images can guarantee increased organic traffic and views for your page or post.
You know you can do general blog optimization and page or post optimization. Part of the optimization techniques you should consider is using images.
Please avoid using copyrighted images or images with watermarks. When you use clear images for your blog post, you'll definitely get more views, and your post will rank higher.
If you've observed, Google News and some news platforms like Phoenix Browser often feature posts with compelling images. Even if you're not interested in reading the post, the image will attract you. That's the power of adding images to your post.
So, please take note: adding images to posts guarantees more views.
Now, the second thing you need to know is how to compress your images. Some images are in 4D, 4HD, or 4K resolution and can be very heavy. One thing that will help your blog perform well is when it loads quickly.
If your blog takes too long to load, users can get discouraged. Image compression helps reduce image sizes from 10MB to 1MB while maintaining quality.
One recommended app for compressing images is CapCut. Download CapCut on your mobile phone, upload the image, adjust and edit it, then export it. You can also remove image backgrounds.
When you export the image, it will be in kilobytes.
Adding two or three images to your post won't increase the post size significantly (maximum 1-2MB). This helps your post load faster on any blogging platform (Blogger, WordPress, or self-hosted blogs).
That's it for image compression and the importance of adding images to your blog post. I hope you gained value from this video. If this is your first time on my channel, please subscribe, hit the bell icon, and don't forget to leave your feedback, comments, and suggestions in the comment section.
